Transparent Pricing Policy
Pricing Policy
This Pricing Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding pricing, payment, and related aspects for all services offered. By engaging with our services, clients agree to the terms set forth in this document.
1. Pricing Structure
All services are priced according to a custom quote based on the project’s specific needs, complexity, and scope. The final price will be detailed in a written proposal sent to the client prior to commencing work.
Additional services requested by the client beyond the agreed-upon scope will be subject to a separate quote.
2. Free Trial
A free trial may be offered at our discretion. This includes a small sample design, such as a basic landing page.
The free trial is a one-time, non-obligatory offer. It is intended solely for the client's evaluation of our work.
The client may not resell or reuse any part of the free trial design unless entering into a formal agreement for further services.
3. Payment Terms
Full Quotation Plan:
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the full quoted price is required before any work begins.
The remaining 70% must be paid before the project due date and prior to the final delivery of the website or other project assets.
This plan is ideal for one-time projects.
Monthly Payment Plan:
For ongoing projects, a monthly payment plan can be arranged through a contractual agreement.
The terms of the contract can be set within a fixed period, with a minimum commitment of 6 months.
Payments will be billed monthly, as outlined in the contract.
Custom Payment Plans:
Payment plans for larger projects may be negotiated, but they must be detailed in writing and agreed upon by both parties before the project starts.
4. Revisions and Additional Work
Collaborative Process
Clients may submit revision requests at any time during the project. I will respond and implement applicable changes as promptly as possible. My working hours are flexible to accommodate smooth collaboration.
Revisions Policy
The number of revisions included will be defined at the start of each project. I may offer unlimited revisions, but this applies strictly to minor adjustments — such as text edits, spacing, or color changes — that are directly related to the current design direction.
The distinction between a minor and a major revision is determined solely at my discretion. Major revisions — including redesigns, structural changes, or requests that fall outside the original scope — are not covered under standard revision terms. These will be treated as additional work and quoted separately before any further work begins.
Timely Feedback
To ensure an efficient workflow, timely feedback is expected. Revisions are intended to fine-tune the project, not to initiate significant changes or resets.
5. Third-Party Costs
Any third-party costs (e.g., domain registration, web hosting fees, premium plugins, or software licenses) are the responsibility of the client. We will notify the client of these costs prior to purchase.
We are not responsible for any future costs related to third-party services once the project is completed.
6. Copyright and Ownership
Client Ownership: Upon full payment, the client will retain ownership of the final website design, content, and any assets provided by the client. The website, including all content, images, and media, will become the property of the client.
Designer Rights: Aard Creative retains the right to use any design concepts, code, or elements developed during the project for future projects, as long as they do not directly replicate the client’s final website or brand identity.
Portfolio Display Rights: By agreeing to this project, the client grants Aard Creative the right to:
Display the completed website or design work in our portfolio (both online and offline) for promotional purposes.
Showcase the project on social media, case studies, or marketing materials, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing before the project begins.
If the client wishes to exclude the project from our portfolio or marketing materials, a written request must be submitted prior to the project’s completion.
Third-Party Assets: Any third-party assets (e.g., stock images, fonts, or plugins) used in the design are licensed to the client for their website only. Ownership of these assets remains with the original creators and is subject to the licensing terms of those providers.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Deposit Policy:
The deposit is non-refundable, except in cases where I am unable to fulfill my obligations as outlined in the proposal. For example, if unforeseen circumstances prevent me from delivering the project, a refund may be issued.Cancellation Terms:
If the client decides to cancel the project after the deposit has been made, they will receive all completed work up to the point of cancellation. However, please note that the deposit will not be returned.Example:
If you decide to cancel the project after I have completed 50% of the work, you will receive all completed work (50%) but the deposit will not be refunded.Outstanding Payments:
Any outstanding payments for work completed must be paid in full within 10 business days of cancellation. This ensures that I can cover the time and resources invested in your project.
8. Late Payments
Late Fee:
Invoices that are not paid within 5 business days of the due date will incur a late fee of 10% of the total project cost for each week that the payment is overdue.Suspension of Services:
If payment remains outstanding for more than 30 days, any ongoing work or services will be suspended until the outstanding balance is settled.Legal Action:
Continued non-payment may result in legal action to recover unpaid fees, ensuring that both parties uphold their commitments.
9. Liability
Limitations of Responsibility:
We will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may occur as a result of using the final deliverables (such as a website or design).
This means that if a client does not achieve expected results (like gaining customers or if there is a loss of customers), we are not responsible. Our primary role is to design and create the website, not to market or promote the client's brand.
Client's Content Responsibility:
The client is fully responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of any content they provide for the project (e.g., text, images, or data).
If any legal issues arise (such as copyright claims) from the content supplied by the client, the client will be liable for those issues, not us.
10. Modifications
This Pricing Policy may be updated or modified at any time.
